About Peter Spowage

Peter Spowage is a serving Metropolitan Police Officer. Peter does a charity challenge every year; this year Peter, and his brother Denis are doing a motorbike ride round the coast of Great Britain.

Peter is a keen motorbike rider and a member of the ‘Royal British Legion Riders Branch’, the badge is shown below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peter enjoys regular motorbike rides with fellow members of the branch and, along with other branch members, regularly raises money for both the British Legion and ‘Help for Heroes’.

 

Peter is now of the age where he should ‘hang up his helmet’ but continues to ride his beloved ‘Josephine’ (a Triumph Tiger motorbike) around the country both for pleasure and to raise money.

 

It was through Peter’s love of biking that ‘Round the Outside’ was born.

 

Peter was planning his next trip when he had the idea of raising money at the same time, combining pleasure with charity.
